This episode was really great because, ok we're continuing to progress with the story and the historic events, action moments, but it was also to show more about the characters. About Harald who is not gonna let Leif go alone in the marshes, and after that he's not accepting for his friends to go risk their lives to save him, he's offering them their liberties, but he's going to save the guy, to continue his mission. He's proving that he's a good leader, but also a good person. Someone who doesn't give up.
Edmund wanted to prove himself : first on the battlefield but it's clearly not a good idea, and then by being crowned so he can be recognized by everyone as the King. Godwin gave him really good advices and I appreciated that a lot, but I also respect Emma and her judgment. The fact she's against the idea, I can see why, but time will prove if she was right or not.
