This episode was really great, and yes, it's making me even more mad that they don't know how to promote this final season. Writers made an amazing job and the marking is destroying it, by announcing the spin-offs and ruining the suspens (we know who survives, what they're gonna do next), and with promoting it like a regular season. This episode was well built, the idea of the flashbacks was good and well done, we had some good pictures and lights, the characters are great etc.
It was even better because we have the surprise of Negan's return, with a new group and some new characters. And what happened during this episode is promising for the rest : if our guys manage to get out, what are they gonna do next ? For sure, these people would be welcomed in Hilltop, which clearly needs to have new hands to help to rebuild it. And then ?
