I think that you just have to count how many times I rolled my eyes during the last episodes to know how much I'm tired of Aethelhelm's manipulations. And I know that it's just the beginning, but right there, the guy provoked the beginning of a war ! I have hope for Uhtred to be right on time to avoid that, like he did in the past. But, it needs to be said : it's not because Aethelhelm is an awful person, that I'm gonna cheer for the end, when he learns that because of him, his daughter died. It's sad and I felt his pain… But his look after that… Haaa, he's gonna continue with his bullshits, for sure.
During Rumfoca's battle, I was so focused on Finnan and his wife, her mission and them trying to protect her, how desperate he looked, that I really thought the writers would kill him. Because he's one of the fans favorite and also because during a surprise battle like that, it seemed logical to lose someone. But Osferth… Boy, you still had so many things to live.
