DRAWING WEEK 15 - ARCANE

Like I said for the drawing of Jinx two weeks ago, I really have something for Arcane characters right now. A lot because of the french team of League of Legends that I follow and all these games, in which each time the names of Jinx or here Ekko are pronounced and I just remember how much I miss these characters. I really fall in love with this show because of its aesthetics for sure, for the stories and characters which are reminding me the game, but mostly because of the quality of writing behind it. Characters are well presented but also developed, with evolutions, and we are going deeply into their minds, their emotions.
Like, here, Ekko, is clearly used as a supporting character, but we had him as a kid and like two scenes to describe his dreams, his relationship with the sisters etc. And then, older, we discovered what he did, how he changed, his intentions now and also how he feels about that society and about the other characters. That fight with Jinx was truly impressive, but I loved even more the conclusion of it, when Ekko saw Powder into the eyes of Jinx. It was so well done, that moment of hesitation... Without any words, just with the looks, the hesitation, the interpretations of the casting, we had everything.
