Hello !
I was totally honest in my review : I just read the synopsis before watching this movie, and I just knew everyone talked A LOT about it during the confinement, saying "han, it says so much about our lives right now". And clearly, I didn't expect that mood for the movie, I was totally surprised, and I let the story take me. Each time I was like, is it a comedy ? A romantic thing ? A thriller ? In the end, it's more a story created to criticize our society, with characters we can't appreciate (on both sides).
The poor family is so mean, making people fired to have their places and to work for that rich family, spoiled by their privileges and so arrogant… And we have the old housekeeper, also poor, fighting with the poor family. Everyone is living in a basement, smelling that basement, which is horrifying the rich people. This end is surreal, truly insane, and the second end is for me an interrogation : do we see what he dreams of or what really will happen ? In the end, it's not that important : no matter what, they're gonna be stuck in their house, the poor or the rich one.
