I didn't expect to spend the majority of the episode with Gaby and Falco. In a way, it's great that they managed to escape because they're confronted with who is really living in Paradise Island. And for Gaby, to see that they are regular humans, just living a normal life, being able to be nice, welcoming, it's too much for her, she can't believe it. She was so brainwashed to think that they are devils that she is afraid but also mad at them, she doesn't trust them, she's disgusted by them… But this girl helped her, and told her what happened to her mother.
Gaby needs to evolve, to stop seeing the world in white or black, but she's so trained to think that she has to feel guilty for what her ancestors did and to fight to regain honor for her people, that everyone who doesn't think like that is not only wrong but is a real devil… It's hard for her, but I hope that at some point, she can't do it. This episode was really about "being confronted to what you thought before", like Hange who fought for the truth for so long and now has to punish the ones who released a truth she didn't want to share…
