Hello !
I watched the three last episodes on the same day and that was my best decision of the month : everything is beginning here, with this water city that we're discovering and its people, the story with the Princess, Zhao trying to kill Zuko, him and his uncle "joining" him but for their own plan… I loved everything, I reacted a lot, so here we go for a full reaction part on my Patreon.
That city is beautiful and I'm impressed by the waterbenders here, but I clearly have big issues with their rules : no girl can learn waterbending, they are forced to marry guy and they just have running away for escape… And even if at the end Katara managed to be a waterbending student, how about the other girls ? Oh, and I still had some tears here, when I was afraid for Zuko and his uncle.

Hello ! I really hope you're right 🤞But the fact that they didn't mention it and also, then, the story with the Princess forced to marry a guy she doesn't want to marry... I think that this city has really strong patriarchal ways of living, and it might be hard and long for them to change. But not impossible 😊

2021-03-24 19:54:03 +0000 UTCI always imagine that Katara planted the seed needed to lift the stupid ban on girls learning to fight. Obviously in the real world it wouldn't be so easy but I think in this case Master Paku has seen the error in their ways :-)
