EXTENDED REACTION PART, AT LEAST ONE WEEK SOONER, NO ADDS

Hello !

After the end of the last episode, with Grogu being kidnapped, I was really anxious for this one : not the final one, so maybe things were gonna get worse before going well. But no, we had a regular one episode, one adventure, one new ally that we're welcoming and saying goodbye to. Ok, we needed these informations and the mission was great, again we talked about little people impacted by rules decided by good/bad guys, the moment of revenge was also great.

But during all of this time, Grogu was captive. They have plenty of time to torture him. And ok, final speech is great, almost epic, but is it really a good idea to warn your enemy that you're coming for him ? He's gonna be more in a defensive mode, you lost the effect of surprise...

I'm still french, so I'm still sorry if my english hurts you.

THE MANDALORIAN 2X07 EXTENDED REACTION

Hello ! I got the tactic of getting into Gideon's head but I was too focused by the fact that it was erasing totally a surprise tactic. And yes, Mando let his feelings and in particular his anger talk. I didn't see the parallel with Gideon's speech, I'm gonna check that again, thanks for telling me 😊

Just curious, but did you catch that Mando's speech at the end was almost, word-for-word, the same speech that Moff Gideon gave to them when he first appeared at the end of S01E07? I felt that it wasn't so much a "I'm coming for you" as it was a tactic Mando was using to get into Gideon's head, though it did serve to convey his feelings for Grogu. For me, though, that was already made clear when he was willing to reveal his face to keep the mission going.
