An epic final episode. I LOVED IT. And not only for the end. Music was just wonderful, so good, and it helped to rhythm some battle scenes which could have seemed too long without it. We had also some great moments, with Gideon who is really the vilain that we love to hate. And we had this end.
First, the Dark Saber : so now, it belongs to Mando and Bo Katan is "a" Pretendent. It's going well with my theory about Mando's path being related to his planet, taking personal revenge and all… maybe he's also gonna be a pretendent ? Second : the Jedi. I'm so glad I managed to avoid spoilers for this show, for Mando, then for Grogu and now here. This reveal made me so emotional and nostalgic. Seeing R2D2 was the climax. Third : the goodbyes. It's really weird : I had this theory about Mando's path about his planet and Grogu's path about becoming a Jedi, I had another theory about the two of them being separated for development of their characters, but I never mixed the two of them or thought about their consequences. So I was surprised and sad here.
Also, I said it in review : if during season 1, you would have told me that Mando would show his face to Grogu (and not Baby Yoda) because he was leaving to go with Luke, I would have told to just quit weed. Like really.

Hello ! They built this moment so well : the Jedi coming and being just a badass Jedi master, it's taking a loooong time (almost longer than the goodbye scene in fact), they are really building a tension, an excitation, of course we're beginning to guess that a ghost, then a Skywalker is here, and then he appears, and then the goodbyes and the emotion, and then the funny melancholy with R2-D2, comeback to emotion and goodbye. This entire scene is just one element, they built it without emotional break, everything counts, every line is important, and happens also quickly. Loved it 😊

2021-04-02 18:58:57 +0000 UTCI've watched this final episode a number of times now and it hits me in the feels every time. Not about the Grogu part as just how they gave us the return of Luke. After the beating that the final movie trilogy gave to Luke's character, it was amazing to finally get to see some proper justice done, getting to see Luke kicking ass as a Jedi master.
