Hello !
With an episode about Negan, I had trouble to see what we were gonna have but the writers totally got me. This tree, Rick, this moment, mentioning Carl, I was crying in one second. And then, when he discovered Bat-Lucile, I knew it was gonna be important : what he was gonna do with it, would represent where he's standing now. So, discovering after all flashbacks, that he burnt it, it broke my heart but also was such a relief.
All flashbacks were so great, we really had the origins of Savior Negan. Clearly, I was surprised and excited by each reveal. We saw that Negan was really just going from an extreme situation to another : being a bad husband who cheated to being the perfect one who is dedicating himself to his sick wife, and then switching to Negan who is killing people. Now, he can't hide bad stuff he did before and maybe he can be really himself. Lucile was right, he needs people, and he did things to repair his faults. With her, but also with our guys, no ?
