Hello !
I fought with two things here : before the episode, with a spider who wanted to watch it with me, just above my head ; and after the episode, because of Toph lying and running away. She's the earthbender teacher Aang needs, she was not happy right here and her parents doesn't understand who she is and needs to be, but they truly wanted to protect her, even if it was in such a bad way. Without the ending scene with the dad asking the two worst persons he could, to find his daughter, I would be like "No, not cool Toph, let them a note and tell ours guys that you're running away".
Her way of doing earthbending is so cool, I really love that they took the time to describe it, so we can see how she hears stuff and she proceeds. And also why she had trouble to hear Aang. All is subtle, quickly done, but well described so we can understand everything.
