Hello !

I don't know why I never watched this movie before, I love Tim Burton's work and how beautiful and poetic most of his films are. For the picture I saw, I thought it was gonna be a Sweeney Todd's atmosphere, but it was in fact the contrary : I didn't expect it to be a Christmas fairy tale. I was even surprised by the fact that I knew the music, which surely inspired a lot of Christmas music after that.

The story was so sweet, I liked the fact that they didn't treat Edward's hands as a handicap with people treating him badly. On the contrary, he used them so well and it's just at the end, that it provoked some accidents. I didn't expect the conclusion of the movie, I thought it would be brighter, but it's still a good and poetic one. Now, we know where the snow is coming.
