DRAWING WEEK 18 - WESTWORLD
Added 2021-05-01 07:01:02 +0000 UTCHere a drawing of Westworld. Not really for the character, because even if the actress played her wonderfully, I was not a fan of Dolores. A lot of her speeches sounded great, but the reasons behind them and the means were not right. Call me unrealistic, but I believe in humanity.
I loved this show immediately. Because I watched the old movie just one week : the movie was on tv, I loved it, I thought that the idea was so great, these different worlds into a game park, the robots deciding to take control. And one week after that, I'm searching new shows to begin and I discover that this one just begins. I knew I needed to test it. And I knew that they were gonna do something new and great with it, only with one episode. I was on.

Loved first and second season. They had to test something new for season 3 because of the story evolving out of Westworld and also because it would have been too repetitive. They didn't succeed, they didn't fail, it's between. Characters, new and old, were great with big developments, but the story itself was regular one. I expect more, the quality of seasons 1 and 2 was so high. Movie is totally different : it's an old one and I think it was really modern for when it was out. The difference of how the writers treated the human robots is interesting to analyze, different year and society.

2021-05-01 19:01:49 +0000 UTCThat's a cool style! Regarding westworld, I loved the first season. 2nd was OK. I ended up not bothering with the 3rd one but I heard it is good. Never watched the movie though. Must be interesting to compare with the series!
