Yes, first drawing about Avatar : The Last Airbender, it was Iroh, so yes, second drawing, it has to be Zukko. Because one can come without the other, because they are the relationship that I love the most into the show. The loyalty that Iroh had for Zukko during the first seasons, knowing that his nephew could change, mentoring him for the bending but also in life, believing that he could become better and just waiting for it to happen. How supportive and loyal he is with Zukko, I LOVE that.
And yes, I chose to draw him as he was at the beginning of the first season. Because it's also a reminder of the big evolution that this character had. Yes, for the hair. But more important, for everything that makes him who he is. His evolution from beginning to now feels like so big that it can't be possible, when in fact everything happened in a real subtle way, little by little, adventures with adventures, understanding stuff about life and himself. I had some moments where I hated him, some moments where I loved him, some where I was proud, others where he disappointed me. But I never lost hope.
