Hello !
I appreciated to have an entire episode about Katara : to show that she evolved and that she's not the polite ad wize girl, not just that, that she's ready to fight, lie, manipulate, to do what she thinks he's right and what she decided to fight for. She put her objective of helping people above everything, that's why she's there and fighting.
She's the natural leader of the group and she has her own character, and issues. I'm glad also that she was the center of this episode because I read some fans who are not fans of her, saying that she's annoying in comparison of Toph or Azula. I don't agree at all : her skills with waterbending are improving, she's there for everyone and she saved them a lot of time, she's deeper with a lot of intense emotions.
