Flashback episodes are always so great with Avatar, and this one was full of informations but also intense moments, magnified by the musics. I'm always impressed by how well the writers are describing characters and actions, so well that in just a few scenes I get attached to them. Here, I was truly sad for Ozin and Roku's friendship to be broken like that, for the conclusion of it.
I'm not sure yet of what implies that reveal about Zuko at the end. But I love the fact that Iroh is giving him that information, it's really like "Kid, I taught you bending and things about life, everything I knew and could, that's the last thing I could give you : the truth about your origins." Not sure of what Zuko can do with that, especially right now, he is so lost.

This (Episode 6) is definitely one of my favorites. I've been wanting to see your reaction ever since you started theorizing that maybe Zuko wasn't actually the Fire Lord's son. Only more great episodes this season to come!

2021-06-09 08:27:01 +0000 UTCPoint of interest, in the intro, the four bender shadows are Azula (Fire), Aang (Air), Paku - the master who taught Katara in the northern water tribe (water). The earthbender was initially going to be Aang's teacher, but when someone came up with the idea for Toph, he was removed. He was eventually brought back as Sud, Roku's earthbending teacher (appearing in this episode).
