Hello !
It was everything I expected : a sweet kid movie, with adventures, stories for the secondary characters, some creatures, good moments of fun and also stuff that adults can appreciate. And I have to say that I totally fell for it : for the funny part, with all of the absurd jokes (Miracle Max, you're my favorite character) but also for the deep part, with analyzing the main characters' stories as the steps of mourning a love relationship (cliffs of insanity, flame swamp, pit of despair where you're losing years of your life and can die, and only true love can save you).
I love also a lot Inigo story, I have something for revenge narrative arc, and I was afraid for him at the end. I'm glad no one died, but I was expecting a longer end, with seeing the real consequences of it (the King is not gonna go after them ? But he won, he can declare war now for kidnapping reasons, no ?). But I know, with movies where it's a story being read, we don't have that, and it's ok, the end with the kid and his grandpa was sweet.
