DRAWING WEEK 29 - THE WALKING DEAD

A drawing about The Walking Dead for this saturday because I keep thinking about the next and last season of the show. It's gonna begin this summer and I'm not sure I'm prepared for it. Can you imagine, the LAST season. To finish all of these adventures, to say goodbye to all of these characters... that's gonna be hard. Ok, we're gonna have a spin off and a movie (is it still on ?), but it's not gonna be the same. It's gonna be the end of an era.
And you know, after the death of Glenn and then after the death of Carl, I always had this moment "it's the end of the show, we're beginning something new". But the writers always managed to keep my excitement intact. And I never thought that a season was lost (which was clearly not the case of Fear the Walking Dead with a season 5 totally forgettable). To have Maggie back to finish the story, it seems logical for the narrative arcs and the characters, but also right. We began the show with Glenn, we're gonna finish it with Herschel. I swear, I almost want the final scene to be with Judith and Herschel doing something together, a memory to Rick meeting Glenn at the beginning of everything.
