Hello !

It was interesting to have Korra facing Amon in this episode, to really put this issue as the main one, the real danger. And it is : the facility with which he convinces people, it's making me think that we have a real society issue here, and for me, to win against Amon, it's not only gonna be by fighting, it's gonna be also by political decisions, by convincing people.

I don't believe in what Amon said at the end, not entirely. Ok, it could make her a martyr and he doesn't want that, but I also think that it's part of his plan, that he needs to wait for another reason. With the discussion of the Council and this flashback, I begin to think that we're gonna learn more about what happened in the past, for Aang and this Yakone, that maybe Amon is related to him.

I'm still french, so I'm still sorry if my english hurts you.

THE LEGEND OF KORRA 1X04 EXTENDED REACTION

Comments

I have facts about our new characters, Tarrlok and Asami. Tarrlok is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who also voiced Appa and Momo (regular voices and when they started talking 😂). Asami is voiced by Seychelle Gabriel, who played Princess Yue in the movie we all told you not to watch haha. So, you’ve been introduced to probably my least favorite part of Korra: the love triangle. Bleh 🤮. But I’m going to enjoy seeing how you react to upcoming stuff, so it won’t be completely terrible!

to be fair, i'd say it was an appropriate response for most politicians.

I think your response to Tarrlock was totally justified - he was pretty manipulative toward Korra in this episode. Also, was there no tearbending in the first episode? Maybe I just assumed there was in the 2 breaks you had to take. 😂

Ryan Lake

I was gonna ask the same thing about the flashback.

Ryan Lake

Amon is one of my favorite villains. He threatens everything that makes this world special. The mask was a great touch; being more unknown just made him scarier. I was still 100% onboard with LOK at this point. Looking forward to your reactions down the line (especially the next episode). Also, I'm wondering if you caught what you missed in the flashback while you were editing this video.
