Hello !
This episode was great for a lot of different reasons. To know more about Lin : she's strong but not cold, she just has big principles which are guiding her entire life and protecting people will always come first, like at the end of this episode. For her story with Tenzin, I'm sorry to say I'm glad it didn't become a real thing : Aang's son with Toph's daughter, it seems logical but in the end, I'm not feeling comfortable with the idea.
It was also great for the tournament, the fact that our guys didn't win (it would have been too easy). And for Amon : I'm sorry to say (again) I see the issue between benders and non-benders in this city, really. To win against the guy, they're gonna have to fight but also to take political decisions.

Never apologize for showing Pabu some love. Never. He deserves all of it and even more. This episode is always great. Amon is hands down one of my favorite things about this whole series. Menacing, unstoppable, and world changing. I really like villains whose arguments kinda make sense when you think about it, so I'm totally onboard with the whole, "Amon kinda has a point" team.

I just checked it again and yes, it might be intentional... In the episode on itself 🙈 It's lighter into the Council place, then darker in the arena, then lighter again when Amon is coming. For the action, for the places, I don't know, but it's coming from the episode, the original drawings, not from me 🙈

Has some great action (both during the match but especially after) and I really like that Lin starts to appreciate and even bond with Korra in this episode. I didn't really like the animosity between them in the first few episodes, so I'm glad it got resolved fairly quickly. I did notice that the beginning half of the episode seemed a bit bright (not your camera, just the episode playing in the corner). I noticed a few minutes in and wasn't completely sure at first, but there were a few moments in the council meeting and one during the fight that it was very noticeable to me and not just me 2nd guessing myself. After the fight seemed darker, and I couldn't tell if it was darker than "normal" or just returned to "normal". I realize this may be intentional, to help get around the automated copyright stuff, and if so, I think it's fine and maybe not noticeable to most people, but wanted to point it out just in case.
