Hello !
Korra is really rejecting everyone who wants to help her, the ones who are there since the beginning to protect her. It's logical with her character but also her age, she's into that phase of being an angry teenager who thinks that everyone is against her. But I'm sad that she pushed away her dad like that, his story was sad. And I'm afraid that at some point, she could go too far with Mako and Bolin.
I don't know if she resolved fully the situation with the spirits by releasing this forest, but at least, it helped. And Unalaq was right here, supported her, and seemed sincere. But the end… He doesn't want to unite the tribes, he wants to take the control of them. And I thought he wanted to do things right : like in the past, he saw his brother doing things wrong, he helped to save the situation and wants to control it to be sure nothing is gonna destroy it again.

Hello ! Neighbors are calmer, it's ok 😊 I understand also Korra's point of view, and at this point, I was ok for her having a new teacher. But a new mentor and turning her back that much to Tenzin? It broke my heart.

I’m trying my best to be patient (and to remember that adults are no better, most of the time). Anyways, I wonder what Unalaq’s plans are 👀. Also, that’s an interesting trend. Many southern Watertribe people have a k in their name right? It looks like the northern people prefer a q. Well, there are exceptions, but that’s pretty interesting 🤓

Even if it wasn't connected to spirits, he was clearly in the wrong, no matter what Unaloq did to take advantage of it... In these first two episodes at least, I'm actually with Korra. The two people who she trusted most to guide her (her dad and Tenzin) HAD been lying to her about some pretty big things her entire life, and then are the two people trying to stop her from training with the only person who can teach her how to handle spirits. I definitely think she could have handled it better, but overall I don't see any problem with her training with Unaloq a little and being mad at the other two (though I don't think she should cut them off completely, and of course not take it out on Mako). While I agree in general with complaints about going far distances in short amounts of time (even AtLA was guilty about this toward the end), to be fair, the Southern Air Temple was literally the first place Aang went after leaving with Katara and Sokka, so its actually the same amount of time for Tenzin and gang to get there. Really like the interactions between all the characters in the next few episodes, so looking forward to the rest of your reactions this week! Also, glad to see that it looks like you're healing well! Hope you've been able to continue avoiding your neighbors' passive aggressive WhatsApps! 😝
