I loved this episode ! What a great idea to have an entire one done around Matsuda. Before that, we just saw how nice he was, genuine, but at the same time, he needed to prove himself. And ok there, it didn't end well but he wanted to do good, he was brave, he had some intuitions, he had good informations, he found good lies in a short time, he listened to L carefully and trusted him with his own life.

I'm also surprised by Misa. She doesn't remember anything about Kirra and the Death Note, she's suspected to be the second Kirra and because of that they are forcing her to live right there, she hates L, but still she played the game well and helped them.
