What if Amber was a guy? What if Catherine had become friends with a nerdy young guy who, in Sterling's absence, had glowed up massively and was now competing with Sterling for Catherine? Or, alternatively, she helped a guy who used to bully Sterling to get in shape? This male Amber can either 'train' Sterling and sabotage his efforts to impress Catherine. Or Sterling can outsmart this guy and take Catherine for himself right in front of him.

What if Hunter (through his usual shenanigans) replaced Sterling in the hotel with Brenna and Eva from Ch. 7.

What if Sterling didn't leave his phone in the kitchen on the first day after meeting Hunter with Ophelia? He doesn't see Hunter grope Ophelia. He doesn't talk to Hunter and find out all of Hunter's plan. Sterling doesn't spend any time or energy trying to stop Hunter or trying to take the girls for his own. He's simply trying to just reconnect with his family. Sterling is unaware as Hunter fills the void left by the warden, unaware that all of the girls are slowly being corrupted into Hunter's property.

What if in CH. 3 Hunter comes downstairs and convinces the group to play one last game of Odd or Even, Him versus Brenna Cath and Sterling. Hunter wins the game and gets everyone to get naked and take a lap around the house including himself. After everyone is naked outside Cath suggests a race to diffuse the tension after seeing Hunter in his birthday suit. Brenna ups the stakes saying the losers must do whatever the winner wants for a whole week. Despite Sterling's please the girls agree and of course Hunter does, while Sterling begrudgingly joins in. Too everyone's surprise (but ours) Hunter somehow wins the race.
