Development Post - 034

Hello and welcome to our third Development Post of October. I'm going to keep things similar to last week's post, so expect a couple of paragraphs and a few pictures. Sound good? Awesome.

You have no idea how much I want to type up the "Kung Fu XXX Chapter 2 - Out Now!" post, but we still have a bit more work before then. Not nearly as much as last week, but I'm adding in a couple key components that are 100% necessary. When I'm done with those, I can continue on the animations, do a test run to see what I'm missing, and hopefully there won't be anything left.

So what are we working on today? A stat screen. This shows what your current objective is, where your skill is standing, everyone's corruption, a short description of them, and a chibi picture.

Looks pretty shitty, right? Yea, well I made it in about 2 minutes, so don't hate on it yet. Anyways, the design is pretty functional. The arrows change the subject to whoever you have unlocked. Currently, only Tigress and Wing Wu will be unlocked, so I won't add the arrows in for this Chapter as they aren't needed. As the subject's corruption goes up, their picture will change from something pleasant to something very whorish. I'll show the sketch for Tigress as well in this post.

As you can see, the image portrays her purity. Not sure how I'll go about the Wu Sisters, but I guess as long as they aren't exposing themselves just yet, it'll work. Anyways, I hope you guys like the chibi idea.

Last thing I wanted to put, was that I'm pretty much doing commissions now. In my opinion, my art is meh compared to my programming, but there have been a few people who have asked. Prices are as goes: $10 for lines of one character, add $5 per every other character. $15 for one colored and shaded character, add $5 per every other character. However, if you are a $5 patron or above, colored pics are the same price as lines. As for backgrounds, I suck at them, so I can do something simple for no charge.

Here is a recent pic I did for a client. Don't worry about commissions halting the game as I finished this pic the same day I was sent the specifics.
