It's such a waacking standard. But only makes it more fun, there a battle in LineUp Season 7 with this track that you'll love

2025-05-14 06:18:54 +0000 UTCHilda won btw I tend to agree that Meme sometimes is far more aggressive than the song usually requires, I love her groove and physicality but disco music has a lot of tender moments and I'd like to see her explore those more (Her battle with Marid at SDF is a prime example of this). Also, I don't know if you remember, but this isn't the first time you see her - she was at RFJAM 2023 3x3 in the Funky Japan team, her round against Yoonji with the glasses, "Hero" and the Yoonji's superhero floor jump is very memorable. I'm also very impressed with Hidden here. A few years ago she was a rather ordinary waacker, good musicality but little variation and technique. But she's been coming out with some impressive rounds lately. Another reason you'll enjoy the LineUp marathon is the growth of dancers like Hidden, I believe she was in Seasons 6 and 7. This comment is getting long but I wanted to also talk about that top 16 battle that left you confused: The way I see it the first dancer had a soul dance posture and the second a dramatic posture, the track was a better fit for drama and the judges(Jayme and Cera) also have a preference for dramatic/femme. Both dancers repeated a lot but the second dancer's repetitions added dramatics. At least that's my perspective, I don't know what's going on through their heads lol
