You should watch their perfomance as well. It's really wholesome to actually watch they grow and how much they improved through time. He never got a killing part, got kicked out of the part he wanted in say my name, got kicked out of the part he wanted in Jelly Pop and we, at least, wanted him to have that last killing part because the lines he had were non existent! He sang 5.4 seconds in a 3:30 minutes song, I had all my devices streaming that video all that week and everytime I had the oportunity to snatch someone else's phone to sneack another view to that video I also did... that's why we seokryudans were all so down when they keept calling people for the final line up and he was not called in the first few spots, we were sure he wouldn't make it...

2025-05-16 04:08:51 +0000 UTCHee hee I'm such a Gunwook biased girlie that I lit up when you got to see what he's capable of. I LOVE all rounders and he's a great one and yes he can do it all. He's so big and strong in his execution and got edited a certain way definitely at first, but he's a confident kid and still very young and the youngest in his own family and seems to be pretty humble and hardworking too so he's not weird about being cutesy and acting his age. I also do feel like at his company with other trainees he had to take a more mature leadership role, but here and within the group he has been able to relax and be a maknae.

2025-05-16 04:03:17 +0000 UTCi believe killing part is mostly center in dance with some vocal parts. in this audition videos, for hot summer the vocal parts would be first two lines of the chorus and then the "hot summer" at the end. meanwhile for jelly pop its the vocal part with the tricky choreo. anything more than these lines was from the part that they have

2025-05-15 23:06:01 +0000 UTCOh, that was fun ! And, for the Hanbin taking the main vocal part from Jay situation... I mean I agree that clearly it isn't "fair", especially for the middle ranks. But in the end it's Mnet, and it's a TV show, they want to create some tension in a way or another. And sadly, I don't think it's going to change. But like with this Hanbin situation I'm still mad at everyone that hated on him (and some people are still mad about it apparently as I saw recently, two years later that's crazy). Like you said, the part they perform for the finale perf' won't change a thing for their rankings, people already have their favorite at this point, and also they already have voted for 1 week before the performances even happen so... Also in the case of Jay, that's not even if it was a situation like he never was able to really show his vocals. If this was, I could understand the frustration for his fans. But he had the main vocal part for ALL 3 missions. The audience knows how he can sing, him being sub vocal 6 or main vocal is not going to make any difference at this point. Also, people focused on Hanbin/Jay but I love how no one cared that for example Matthew got kicked out of sub vocal 2 by Hao, and had to go to sub rapper with even less lines than Jay... So the outrage was really specific towards only Hanbin here, and that's why I can't take seriously the vast majority of people that complained about all of this. So yes the system isn't fair, but really there is no point on hating on any trainee for pushing another. Hanbin wasn't going to choose to get 6 seconds of lines just to be nice. It's still a competition, and I won't ever understand people that genuinely thought that he should have took a tiny part (the last one, that no one wanted) for charity. Anyways, outside of that I really agree with you about Gunwook for Jelly Pop. And I think the reason he can actually pull this concept so well, it's because he has a pretty cute personality naturally, even if was portrayed the opposite at the beginning of the show x) But yep, taking in account vocal, dance, stability and the delivery I would give it to Gunwook too I think. Hao and Matthew being tied in second place for me. And for Hot summer it would really be between Gyuvin, Hanbin and Keita. I have a harder time picking a definite favorite between the three here, because they all had something different that I really like x) Anyways, sorry for the long comment (and rant but I'm sorry this "drama" really made me mad when it happened, and every time it's mentioned my frustration come back 😅) but I really enjoyed this video from you, again :D Can't wait for the finale, and also I wonder if you will react to the episode 13 ? It's a special episode, they filmed it like 2 days after the finale and it's a commentary of the show with the members ! ^^
