yes, they were extremely busy. They ended the last tour, crammed all the cb prep and tour prep within a handful of weeks, and are going on tour again next month. So, I think it's fair to say they needed a choreo that was simpler here and I agree they might not look as invested in this dance practice as they usually are but im pretty sure thats just them being tired and not having enough time to redo this for better takes. 2025-06-17 12:48:53 +0000 UTCLove watching your reaction and comparison to BBTrippin’s demo, but I think you’re right when you said that they may have altered the choreography a bit to be cognizant of vocals, and overall, their schedule is insane. They just had their “final” performance for “Towards the Light” tour a couple months ago, so finding time to record this mini-album, learn this choreo, promotions, and now practice for the new “In Your Fantasy” tour (yes I’m going to the show in Orlando!)… anyway, good lord. I can’t imagine. Lemon Drop is a fun summer tune, light and a bit lively, but nothing “powerful” like we’ve seen them perform. And like you said, that’s ok. I like that they always provide diversity in their artistry.

But I like that at least KQ is not forcing him to exhibit more clothing that he is comfortable with for these types of concepts or ‘fan service’ 2:22 vibing Jess 💃🏽💃🏽 “You don’t see a LICK of epidermis on that boy” JESS hahahahahaha I’m crying I totally agree with you on the BBTripping demo. I would have liked to see Ateez more of that original demo but I can see where things were changed for the sake of vocal stability / make it easier to perform repetitively. From what I have seem in the live performances that they are in it but not aiming to go ham like in previous releases. I second your point that they might be exhausted. They probably recorded this at the same time as a lot of promotional material and guest show appearances for this comeback (we have had like 4 or 5 videos drop recently) and getting ready to tour again. The North American leg of the tour starts July 10th, I think. But this is no ‘Towards the Light’ tour, it’s a new concept [In your Fantasy] so I’m guessing that the set-list is changing and some of the story telling is changing as well. I’m excited for the lore we might get from this new tour but I hope they get a lil bit of rest before it all starts!
