Changsub covered one of Roy Kim's song titled "Only Then" during his solo concert and Roy Kim reach out to him after that to offer one of the song he composed to Changsub. Changsub released Vroom Vroom and performed it when he was invited to the Waterbomb festival this year. He teased the audience and hype them up only then to perform his ballad songs during that festival too. So cheeky and rightfully attacked with waterguns by the audience during the performance. 😂 Huta also performed his new songs, Bora and other songs from his new album at the Waterbomb festival this year. Last year, he released a song with Eunkwang as their subunit (90-tan as they are both born in 1990) called Tang Tang Tang and performed it together during Waterbomb festival last year. Hyunsik really enjoys his loneliness and his 2 passion apart from music are the space and the ocean. His 1st solo album is called Rendezvous (title track Dear Love) and all his songs there are Space and Universe themed. He composed and wrote the Dear Love song with quantum entanglement theory as his inspiration. His 2nd solo album is called "The Young Man and The Deep Sea" (title track La Mar) and all the songs there are ocean themed. He shot the underwater scenes in the real ocean (he is a professional scuba diver with rescue license) and even made a documentary movie about it. He got invited to a movie festival and his entry for it was this movie. One of my favourite song from this album is 'Deep Blue Sea' because it is a soothing, calming white noise that is perfect to fall asleep to. 😌😌 Eunkwang got teased a lot by the other members for this solo song because the title is 'No One Knows'. I actually felt a bit sad for Eunkwang while I was listening to this song because Eunkwang is like a sunshine. Always smiling brightly, polite and positive but he is the leader with a lot of responsibilities and I think he tends to only shows his bright side and hides any difficulties that he felt. As a fan, I'm always happy when I see his bright smile but I do wonder whenever I hear this song if there is a lot that he hides from us. He does seems genuinely happy though and he does know and take actions to protect himself and the other members as much as he can, so I'm not that worried. Just hoping they would stay safe, healthy and happy doing the things that they love while growing old with us. 😆😆 Peniel's songs here are so laid back and I think perfect to listen to on a drive during a holiday trip. He has been singing more lately, especially when they are doing activities only with 4 members, so he sang and cover other members' parts more. I think my understanding of Ilhoon's Michelangelo is just as much as you. I think the early scenes are a depiction of Adam's journey while traveling the earth after he was sent down from heaven and the later scenes depicting the creation of Adam by sculpturing him from clay. If you like the dancing in Ilhoon's She's Gone, you might also enjoy watching Changsub's Surrender MV. I think you might have seen it 🤔, but I'm not sure. 😅 I really love Sungjae's vocal tone. He seems to lean more on rock ballads recently. I think 이제야 has a Japanese influenced sound to it when I first heard it and some Melody that I know also said the same thing. What do you think Jess? 😁 Other songs that I like from his recent solo album are 1000분의 1초(a millisecond) and Weightless. As Minhyuk said when La Mar released "that lonely brat." If I'm understanding the La Mar lore correctly, Hyunsik is straight up a mercreature, thus why he needs scuba gear to breathe properly on land. But at the end, he gains the ability to breathe without it because he's rediscovered his lost dream and broken out of his previous stagnation. I love how you clocked the pruney fingers, a lot of reactors ask if it's CGI, but you always pay attention to the small details. It's really nice to see. The La Mar comeback was released shortly after Btob parted ways with Cube, and it's interesting that Hyunsik, Peniel, Changsub, and Sungjae all released tracks in the direct aftermath expressing a sense of newfound freedom, rediscovery, new paths, etc. :D (Clarifying that the Changsub and Sungjae MVs you reacted to here are from their most recent comebacks, but their previous ones where on theme with what I mentioned.) Make it or Break it is probably one of my favorite solo tracks from Peniel. It's so nice to see him grow comfortable/confident with his vocals. He's singing so much more now in BTOB songs and it's great to see. Thank you for the reaction!
