I found Bad incredibly boring and i would rate it the worst both in performance quality and dance creativeness XXL feels complete in a way i really enjoy. It feels like the group that was able to mesh this hidden expectation of idol dance with true creativity. Like Jennie felt like the colloquial "avengers" team in line with Bang Bang from Produce 101 season 1(they also sang the dance challenges their and have since the very beginning). well constructed generally high creativity moves where completed just overall good quality to the point where a lot of the things i can say feel like nitpicks. Tamborine feels like Yumeki was forced to nerf himself because none of the other people in his team could as successfully. I can almost FEEL him using the formations to compensate for the teams overall lack of dance skill. for LALALALA that movement section with the howl was IMPRESSIVE i literally GASPED at it. I also think this team committed to the concept the most and i think unlike my issues with Tamborine i felt it in contrast to what you where saying that the commitment to the concept almost covered for the weakness of 3 of the dancers. I didnt even really notice anyone outside of Zhao Guang Xu dancing poorly until you went back over it. My favorite performance was XXL and i agree with your note on that one performer not being able to complete the choreo and im curious if it gets covered in the episode. My ranking personally is 1. XXL 2. Like Jennie 3. LALALA 4. Tamborine 5. Bad(yes i disliked it that much Tamborine felt like it was covering for weaknesses Bad felt lazy)

2025-08-30 23:35:13 +0000 UTCThe vocal cover for tambourine took me out of the performances so much. I wanted so badly but I genuinely can't enjoy the stage because of the vocals. One thing that really frustrates me is how the dance groups have trouble creating choreo and/or performing the choreo in a way that is dance-focused rather than idol focused if that makes any sense. Lots of idols and trainees are visibly focused on looking good while dancing vs focusing on giving a good dance performance. When they're trying so hard to look "pretty", it takes away from the performance. We do have a good number of trainees/idols who perform without thinking too hard on their visuals (harry june, hyunjun etc.) which I respect so much.

Cause while I didn't voice this on sns, I saw a lot of people saying stuff like so and so group should win and etc, but I always thought differently. The music being a cover, and not the original track makes so much sense now! Cause for example, like jennie, Im used to hearing it in Jennie's tone, not the boys's tones. And then for bad, whenever I hear it, I'm used to hearing Christophers voice. Honestly, donggyu's (the guy you were pointing out a good amount of time) tone really matched Christophers in a good way, so it made more sense why he stood out to me despite not being center. And it's not cause I like him, it's genuinely cause he did fit the song better compared to the other two. (In my opinion) And then oh man, xinlong is so good in stray kids!!😭 I'm glad he didn't get s-class last mission, since he would've performed back door as his evaluation intro performance, s-class as the first Mission, and then lalala for the 2nd mission🤣 he suited the song so much!! Also, I didn't realize that over dancing either unintentionally of intentionally can show off the other flaws. Your points you made made me really wonder what type of performances all the dance teams could've performed, if they didn't have to also record their vocals for the songs. Like, I wonder if the bad team would've come up with a different formation and etc. same with like jennie, etc. A lot of people agree with you I think, XXL and lalala had a lot of fans (at least from what I was seeing on my end of SNS) tambourine, people liked it, but I wasn't able to see if w lot of people actually liked it vs liking the members of the team. The same goes with like jennie. the storyline for the like jennie team didn't help a lot of people with liking the performance as much I think. Bad also had the same situation with like jennie, a long with one specific member being asked to rechoreograph it I think, can't fully remember actually
