Owning the original set (which is available on our website) will give you more poses and options, but this new set is completely stand alone and does not require the first lot.

These look great! I missed out on the original Drop Troopers as I've only recently discovered the wonderful world of 3d printing. I hope these will be standalone and not dependent on that original release?

I am planning to do a dropship in the same design style as the Light Mech, at some point... May not be this year at the current rate of progress though..

I cant wait either... Lol.. Im excited for the OGRE suit the most.. But the drop troops look top notch too... Great work yet again.. I really need a Valkyrie or two now.. Or some other drop ship for these guys.

I am liking what i see more than the original drop troops. hopefully the legs wont have the drop stabilizers like the originals, or maybe a shell version could be included to remove certain aspects like the space cowboy set. all that said, i would love to see more exo lord compatible parts/characters. i feel anvil has a little bit of everything, but is lacking a bit in the sisters and exo lord area. personal opinion from the outside,not meant to offend.

We cant do easily poseable arms because we didn't design the original for it, but what we have done is supply a pose with the individual components as separate shells, making it difficult, but much easier, to repose a set.

I was just thinking that I'd love more parts for the OGRE. Poseable arms, like the large mech, would be incredible.

Can't tell yet if I'll want the May set, but I'll definitely follow and find out. So far it doesn't interest me as much, but I know it isn't the full thing yet.
