Digital Add-On : High-Tech Corridor Gaming Bases

Hello,

We are pleased to announce a new digital product on our website which shares a theme with this month's Hazmat containment team.

As a patron, you are eligible to use your 40% discount code on the set!

(Get the latest code here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/start-here-get-36925853)

Buy the Bases Here:

https://anvilindustry.co.uk/digital-high-tech-corridor-bases

£9 (Non-Patron price £15) gets you 61 different gaming bases including:

45 Round straight bevel-edged High-Tech Corridor Bases :

16 Oval straight bevel-edged High-Tech Corridor Bases;

Additionally, The product includes a .blend file containing the square "Base Plate" and all the cutters used to create this pack. You can use Blender (free download from blender.org) to boolean-cut any additional bases you wish!

Use the "Intersect" Boolean modifier once you have positioned a cutter where you want it.

https://artisticrender.com/how-to-use-boolean-modifier-in-blender/

You can also make your own square or other shaped cutters, or print a larger part of the base plate to use in Dioramas.

This is a reasonably straightforward process and we will try and put up a video soon demonstrating how to do it.

PRE-SUPPORTED?

No, these bases are not supplied pre-supported because we know people like to print bases in all kinds of ways, and the "auto supports" function is effective for simple shapes.
The Bases have a hollowed out underside to save resin and provide a better grip on a gaming table.

We have test printed horizontally with lots of short (3mm) tall supports and at an approximate 45 degree angle.
We strongly advise you do NOT try to print the bases flat on the build plate.

Thanks,

Team Anvil

Hello The same thing happens to me, when I make them flat, they come out perfect. It is true that to detach from the plate there are more problems, but they are solved with patience.

Adolfo Ramos

completely flat with no supports, or flat with some supports still?

joel pitt

i cant seem to get bases to work when i angle them, they droop and the bottom gets warped due to the support spikes left over. not sure what im doing wrong, but flat on the build plate yields better results

yep, it will cause suction issues and will likely detach. We have not tried it. The main reason to support rather than print flat, aside from the hollowing being grippier, is that you don't get the ring of over cured resin from the attach layers.

joel pitt

Why not print flat on the plate? Usually that works just fine. Or do you mean because of the hollowed out underside?

Alexander

yep

joel pitt

Nope, cant possibly cover everything! We might be able to make some suitable cutters for other game systems at some point.

joel pitt

It's possible we will design some similar models, but no immediate plans.

joel pitt

We are not going to be doing small releases of digital products like that any time soon - we don't have the resources to do the admin, but its likely they will feature in a set at some point :)

joel pitt

If they don't otherwise fit the release schedule, can we get the Rayguns in a similar add-on?

Kenneth Day

Awesome do you think you may add some more infected other then the docs? Some victims would really make that set

Gabriel frost

Hm no Infinity sizes, but bonus points for the cutters and the base platte

Northern Light
