2020-05-12 17:24:33 +0000 UTCI don't think, at least from my perspective as a first time viewer, that they were "thoroughly explained". Either that or I forgot. But I am planning on reading the light novels so it's not like it's an issue. My main point was just that I'm looking forward to the season that focuses on him

2020-05-12 16:14:47 +0000 UTCAccelerator's backstory and his reasons for his actions during the Experiment were already thoroughly explained in Index Season 1. He also hinted at his true intentions here in episode 6. It's just that it's well hidden within his cliche villainous dialogue about wanting absolute power.
