Wasn’t a lot of Naruto also inspired by HXH? This kind of thing happens a lot in anime. Manga artists often take inspiration from stories/other mangaka that they love. This character might be a nod to Ranma 1/2 which was a part of the creator’s childhood 🤷♀️ obviously this isn’t a fact haha I’m just speculating

The exact same hair, and even the chinese outfit is the same style as what she wears. And it's interesting that the titles of Ranman and Ranma are so close, don't you think?
