Because shippuden has a lot of fillers that later on interupt the flow of the story being told. This series is still imfamous for having only airing 8 canon episodes for one year with the rest of the time being nothing but filler.

2021-08-09 18:02:53 +0000 UTC@Kzlbrendon98 exactly!! Not all filler are bad and we don't have to rush anyway 😁. Why do all people hate those extra episodes? I am personally glad that we have them because you really get more depth for the Naruto world and it's characters.
