[Tokyo Revengers] E17 Reaction and Review

I don't remember exactly what kt said, but by "he has no weight" I guess it means that no matter what takemichi does, it feels that things will turn out well because he is the protagonist and not because of his own actions. He doesn't have the real power to change things, he's just lucky that things turn out well for him most of the time.

I don't get the "He has no weight in the situation" comment. He helped Draken and Mikey stop fighting each other. He saved Draken's life. He has become good freinds with Mikey and Draken and now is offically in the gang. Since the beginning when they met both Mikey and Draken have expressed their views in seeing the potential in Takemitchey with them both agreeing that "anybody can fight, but to keep fighting for what you believe for and never quiting" is something better. Mikey and Draken don't say anything and let Takemitchey go because they're expieriences with him has shown them that takemitchey does have some weight. They have some form of respect for him because of his actions so far. So I dont get how you can say that about him when he has done such good things.

I think I made it pretty clear in my videos that I understand that there is more room for growth this way. I was just saying how I feel in this moment (while watching the ep). I can go through my videos and I can show you at least two other times where I said the same thing.

You went all out on my boy Takemichi hahaha, I do respect your opinion but I respectfully disagree, I do like him as main character to me is so interesting to see how his character is going to develop. I love how realistic his character is and his " I won't give up no matter what " attitude which was what hooked me in to his character. PD: Nice reaction.

I find it interesting that you don't like Takemichi so much. I don't necessarily disagree with your feelings as personally, I don't like his character, so much as I like what he represents. In most "underdog" stories, the "underdog" is only an underdog because they don't have something other people have. Deku for instance is an incredibly smart, hardworking, kind and genuine person. He is only an underdog because he wasn't born with a power that everyone else has. Takemichi on the other hand isn't an underdog because he's missing some special super power, but because he's a loser. It's his personality traits that keep him from being successful, and I find that approach is more interesting/can lead to more growth in the story.
