I took your suggestion for How A Realist Rebuilt A Kingdom. Dude that show is awesome!

I drop animes whenever they don't deliver on the story side: In Rainbow the narrator wasn't very present but was narrating the things I wanted the most to watch; in Daiya no Ace they weren't explaining well enough the rules and particularities of baseball so the stakes of the plays weren't interesting enough for me since I don't have a big baseball culture; Girl's Last Tour episodes were individually interesting but they were lacking a mid term goal for me; in jojo I didn't like most of the things but what really made me drop is the lack of stakes and suspense: whenever Joseph faces a suprise powerful enemy, he can suddendly take a submachine gun out of his pocket/back and win the fight, therefore no fight will ever feel like there is a danger; in NGNL it's similar as in jojo, the main suspense/interest for me was the games and you can win a game avoiding totally the core of the game and its rules or even the psychological aspect. I also drop most comedy episodic anime shows unless they make me laugh. However if the story progresses and the humour is being reinvented in the show I can go with them even if they aren't that funny.

how do you feel about isekai anime? theres these three isekais ive been keeping an eye out this season that are pretty interesting. one of them that really stands out is The Dungeon of Black Company. pretty interesting. the others are Spirit Chronicles and the other is How A Realist rebuilt a kingdom, not for everyone maybe but i love it when they go in depth in fantasy economies and politics and the division and what not and how the Mc manages or deals with those situations.

Baby 5 for a side character is well written and incredibly sympathetic. You don't have to agree with a characters morality or decision-making to appreciate if they are well written or not. I love baby 5 for who she is, regardless of her flaws and mental instability. Flaws are what make a character feel alive, but I guess that much should be obvious.

I usely drop shows when it feels like a chore just to watch it or the visual is just so bad like using to much bad cgi. sometimes i have drop shows when there was to much filler like naruto and waited for the show to be over so i can just skip all the fillers.
