IMPORTANT NOTE: my google account was hacked and also my main YouTube channel. It's been spammed with a bunch of scam nonsense. I got a form from YouTube that I filled in so they should be able to help me revert it back to before it was hacked, but I have no idea if getting my YouTube account back matters if I can't get my Google account back, too.

Google has NOT been helpful at all. Essentially the "recovery page" wants me to sign into my hacked account, but the hacker changed everything - added a security key, removed 2-factor authentication, removed my recovery e-mail and changed the number.

I don't really understand how this could happen, since when I want to log into a new device, I have to approve it from my phone. I didn't get any 2-factor authentication sms, I only got notified about changes after they were made.

Anyway, I don't care if I lose the Google account, but it would be nice to recover my YouTube channel if it's possible to link it to another Google account. Anyway, wish me luck! Thank you all so much for your continued support. ❤️
