OMG!! Only two more weeks of Dragon Ball left?? How is that possible? Time flies when you're having fun :)
It seems like next week I'll be doing the last of the canon episodes. Keep an eye out, I will make a post asking if anyone has final questions for the review/discussion. I'd also like to react to some iconic scenes/characters in different dubs (especially to hear grown up Goku in different voices if possible).

If you plan on watching DBZ, Kai is absolutely the route you should go. The art is more refined since it's HD, the VAs have more experience so they sound much better, better pacing, less episodes, almost no filler. And imo this is for both the sub and the dub.

2024-08-16 03:45:11 +0000 UTCProbably one of the fav fights is this one. Also if there is any english dub you should consider watching its dragon ball z, not for the accuracy but just so you can experience it the way most of us did for the first time. Either way its peak both ways.

2024-08-11 19:02:02 +0000 UTCI do not recommend DBZ kai or the English dub version for your first time watching experience. The VAs sound older in Kai and the music is different, the English dub is not good in my opinion. Stay on your original plan watching 1989 DBZ Japanese version.
