When Barren went to answer the door he was met with a familiar voice, it was none other than the owner of Big Dough (the place where he bought his donuts from earlier), Arid himself. He was carrying all sorts of bags and boxes, full of tasty fattening treats and ingredients to make more food for him, seeing as he figured he'd probably be hungry by now. While some cake sized donuts were being baked in the oven, he'd personally feed Barren, delighted as usual to see him enjoy his creations.
