Personally, I like the reboot less as a hard-reboot like Ultimates, and more like a soft-reboot like Rebirth. A couple of characters got juggled, erased, or merged, but for the most part, it was just doubling back to origins as a chance to tell some earlier stories, rather than being bound by years of continuity. I've always felt like this new Evil Inc run would eventually end up where the old one started, but it's a helluva lot of fun to watch the journey it takes to get there.

This is what Ultimate Marvel should have been with Peter Parker-Kitty Pryde, Wasp-Steve Rogers, and Sue Storm-Ben Grimm, before the Ultimate line fell apart. Think of the potential couples: Psy-Chick & Cap Heroic, Lightning Lady & Wingman, Phenomenal Lass & Fireworx, Elastic Man & Miss Match, Keagan & the Vampire Lover. So many different pairings are possible. :)
