Hugo Awards
Added 2019-01-10 20:35:32 +0000 UTCThe Hugo Awards have opened up their nominating process, and I figured I'd alert any backers who are either attending this year's World Science Fiction Convention (or are otherwise eligible to nominate). I'd be thrilled if you'd consider including Evil Inc among your nominations/
The category that would best fit Evil Inc would Best Graphic Story. The most recent graphic novel, Evil Inc: Under New Management, was published in the appropriate time range to be eligible.
The Dublin 2019 Hugo Awards web page has the links to the online nominating ballots. Members of Dublin 2019 and the 2018 Worldcon, Worldcon 76, can nominate works in each of the categories. Voters are encouraged to nominate up to five works/individuals in each category that they believe are worthy of a Hugo. The six most popular nominees in each category will go forward to the Final Ballot.
Individual links for online nominating will be supplied to voters by email; members can also visit their registration page to find direct links to the online nominations ballots.
How to Vote
Each year, members of the World Science Fiction Society are invited to nominate and vote on the Hugo Awards.
You do not need to attend the convention in order to nominate or vote. A “supporting membership” will be sufficient to make you a member of the World Science Fiction Society and grant you voting rights for both the current year’s nomination stage, the final ballot, and the right to nominate for the next year’s awards.
If you're not already a member, please don't feel as if you should buy a membership. That's not necessary. I'm only putting out the word for people who are currently eligible to nominate who might consider Evil Inc.
