OK... I can't share this anywhere else without feeling guilty for draggin' this dude in public, but I think you folks will have an appreciation for it nonetheless. This is from the Patreon page for ComicLab, a weekly podcast I do with cartoonist Dave Kellett. The first part is from an ex-patron's Exit Interview...

In short, a backer canceled their pledge to the ComicLab podcast because they "discovered" I do a pornographic comic on my own, separate Patreon page.

(Maybe their sleuthing included one of the half-dozen times I talked about it on the show.)

Mind you, ComicLab itself has zero pornographic content. (Unless you count the several enthusiasts who have fetishized Dave's impersonation of Orson Welles.)

Only one person cancelled a pledge near that day, and I checked their records.

One attempted payment.

Declined.

Now... It's not necessarily credit-card fraud. (It's possible the card expired in the few days between sign-up and the transaction itself). (Maybe.)

Either way, now I have to draw an extra five-dollar's worth of boobs-and-dicks this month.

I hope my ex-ComicLab-patron is happy knowing he's responsible for unleashing more porn on an otherwise innocent Internet.
