The next page of EiAD #7: SPACE PIRATE — the continuing adventures of Captain Valerie Scarr as she explores outer (and inner) space. Captain Scarr's hostage is on an involuntary hunger strike, and that's a problem that the good Captain is all-to-happy to solve.

Hey, you're in charge. But (up until the last couple of panels) I would think she'd be more ardent about the ransom. My first choice would probably have been something like "cordial," perhaps pointing to a wish to avoid being considered merciless for letting the princess starve.
