One of the nice things about the soft reboot is that I get to address some flaws in the storytelling structure that developed as the comic strip rolled along. One of them was that I never presented a very clear view of the Evil Inc workplace. To that end, I've created a 3D master floorplan that I can use as reference for interior scenes. My hope is that this will give Evil Inc a greater sense of "place" — not to mention scene consistency.
Another improvement I hope to make is by placing all of my central characters into a shared workspace — moving from offices to cubicles. This helps to create more organic interactions, and it will support relationships that build among the people who work there.
