NSFW commission — Miss Match in bed... PLUS an update on the NSFW 2017 calendar

So... there WILL be a special NSFW calendar for 2017... tentatively. And today's commission will be part of it!

So, here's the full story. Getting a NSFW calendar printed proved to be waaaay more complicated than I thought it would be. First of all, I can't go to an offset printer that prints adult content — like I will when it comes time to do the Evil Inc After Dark collection*. That's because calendars have a very limited shelf life, and I have no idea if these are actually going to sell. To be honest, all of the other calendars I've released have had very limited success.

So, that means I have to go to a print-on-demand (POD) printer. Now, the good news is that most POD printers offer astoundingly good color printing. I mean, we've come lightyears since those early Cafe Press days. But the bad news is that most of them have very strict rules on adult content.

Redbubble — a POD outlet I already use for a lot of Evil Inc merchandise — accepts "mature" content. But even they have a fairly ambiguous policy when it comes to describing what's allowed and what's not.

So, the calendar is finished, and I ... think... it's going to go through the printing process without any hiccups. I've ordered a copy for myself as a test. When it comes in — assuming the quality is high — I will release it to you at a reduced price before releasing it at full price to everyone else.
