Guigar Prehistory, part one

This dates back to before I even started "Greystone Inn." This was part of my Senior Thesis for my BFA degree at Alma College. The comic strip was a prototype for "Greystone" called (semi-eponymously) "Googar." This pre-dates even "The Single Guy" — which is known only to the few people who bought "The Complete Greystone Inn" hardcover.

It's pen & ink / marker on illustration board, and it has hung in my parents' garage since I graduated college. When I went home over the summer, they were decorating for my niece's high-school graduation, and it came off the wall — and into my trunk.

John: That was before I was able to grow a decent amount of facial hair! :) Carlheinz: That's a good point! I hadn't realized that!

Nice one - the birth / the precursor of your "living text box" :-)

Ach! I remember following GI way back. Not sure why I stopped; probably due to a computer crash or a new one. Or, maybe, it ended.
