Added 2016-12-30 16:30:22 +0000 UTCOne of the most challenging aspects of NSFW comics is the sound effects. Reviewing my early work, I noticed that the lack of onomatopoeia held some of the smutty scenes back from their full potential.
But... it's hard to stay fresh! Take the skin-on-skin sound effect. There's WHUP and variations of SMACK and POP, but then the list falls off precipitously. I've tried to broaded the range of wet/sliding sound effects by adding SWIPP to the slippery SQUITCH. (But I'm still not sure how I feel about it.) Most problematic among these is the ejaculation — which is silent (aside from vocalizations). I've taken to using a description of the action — SPURT — to give the scene an extra charge.
But, I may have had a rare moment of ingenuity in today's debut sound effect. I wanted our tentacled friend to lovingly pay the space wench's* round, firm breasts. And it needed some audio erotica. But what?!

2016-12-31 02:08:29 +0000 UTCFor erm.. volumatic climaxes Ive used GUSH! And various erupt-y and tsunami-ish SFX a lifetime of Marvel Comics FX can be pressed into service. And remember for wet slickery drippy SFX, H.P. Lovecraft is a virtual thesaurus of sound phrasing! I hope this Girl sticks around in future stories. I like her a bunch!
