Cape Carnival — All Ears

It seems every Batman artist has their own unique vision for how long Batman's ears should be. Kelley Jones — whose work on Batman appeared through the 90s — drew ridiculously long appendages on top of his head . Golden/Silver-Ager Dick Sprang probably drew them the shortest. For me, it will always be the Neal Adams Batman.

2017-04-07 03:10:44 +0000 UTCNice idea on the "Bat-ears" joke. I would probably say the Aparo design/look was my favorite for a long time - really during his Brave and Bold run. It wasn't just the ears, but the way he often blended them with shadow across Batman's face to give a more implied "menace" without having to do much else.
