That's an interesting story. I realized that I had mistakenly drawn AA instead of LL shortly after I had uploaded that sketch to the queue to post later. It was a simple matter of changing her hair, so I didn't bother to revise the sketch much. As for the guys... they were always intended to be cropped out of the scene, but often I'll rough in the entire body into a cropped scene to help ensure I have me proportions somewhat correct. That's why they didn't have faces — all I was really using was their heads. :)
