I think I was feeling kind lost or restless this past month, a couple of more experimental things came out if it, like this computer lab piece.
And this goofy anime style test I did as a challenge from a friend. It's fun to pick apart how other styles work, but I definitely developed a lot of respect for the colorists on anime--they make very careful color choices to insure these frames don't look terrible. I found it quite difficult.
Ivy & Pine continues in color now! I'm definitely going to shift focus over the next week to be about figuring out the next 12 pages or so! I've been a little bit more silly with the coloring on this. Lots of squiggly abstract lines in the background for no reason?? π€·π»ββοΈ Just having fun I guess!
Thank you all for the character suggestions on the Daisy pinup. I think as I get into the middle section of prolonged comic projects I start to crave variety and doing little pinups becomes really really appealing. 
Whenever I get a moment over this month I'll just draw something from the suggestions real quick, so if you'd like, you can add fanart suggestions here too! :) It's okay if they're repeats (I like comfort characters-- see Daisy drawing), I'll probably make them quicker so I can get to more of them tho but I can put together a poll to at least maybe help me prioritize!
I'm always learning that while there's probably an optimally productive and absolutely focused version of myself in this dimension, I only am that artist every so often. It's great when I am, but I have to still live with myself when I'm not, and part of that process is creating fun diversions like these fanart pinups so I can let off steam before getting back to the hard work of comics.
Do something nice for yourself today, play some videogames. I finally started playing Control because Jesse Faden came up on a previous poll and the whole aesthetic of the game is VERY up my alley, so thanks for the suggestion @Alatar ;)

I've kinda been eyeing it myself, tbh-- I tend toward mechanically heavy games rather than story heavy ones, but I've heard so many interesting things about it! Thanks for bringing it up!

I have no idea why it didn't get more praise, the setting and design is just so outstandingly unique and ties in with so many things from X-files to SCPs that rarely get mentioned in videogames. I hope you'll draw Jesse sometime for a diversion.
